The Best Patrol

If you are going to get hurt skiing, then do it here. Our Ski Patrol is so good they were not invited back to the Ski Patrol Games because they swept top honors too many times.

How To Become A National Ski Patrol Member

Outdoor Emergency Care taught here

“Share your knowledge. It is a way to achieve immortality.”
Dalai Lama XIV

Helping others may not be a way to immortality but it is good for body and soul.

Being a member of the Ski Patrol means something. It means dedication to help making snowsports safe and helping when things don't go as expected. It means being able to ski anywhere, any time and bringing high skills of outdoor emergency training with you. It means being able to do for someone else when they most need it. And it means having a lot of fun too!

If you would like to join those that proudly wear the cross on the slopes, Sky Tavern has a program for both young adults and those older for membership, and certification. Medical and on the hill training are both involved and the process takes time and commitment, but is very rewarding. The skills you gain are something you can carry with you the rest of your outdoor time and may lead to a career in medicine for a young adult. Sky Tavern will start ski patrol training at age 15. Space is limited.

Please email patrolprogram@skytavern.com to get started.
