Sky Tavern Race Team

Tahoe League Race Series and USSA Far West

All race kids learn to carve gates and a lot more. Racing is about more than the fastest down the hill, but also about becoming a great person. Racers might be described as the "Scouts" of skiing. A huge amount of life lessons can be learned while wearing a speed suit. That said, our group has produced some amazing champions with more on the way. Travel to other resorts will be necessary to compete. The Race Team pratices Saturdays, Sundays and sometimes mid-week off snow. Race Team is open to any age, from just out of SkyKids to High School. In fact most of the great High School racers are from the Sky Tavern Race Team. The kids start training and working out together in November, so don't put it off!
