Nov 18-19, 2022Your holiday shopping dollar will go a long way at the Sky Tavern Ski Swap and you will be helping get local kids on the snow. This is the largest fundraiser of the year for the nonprofit. You can feel good about where your money is going. You can see it right out there on the snow at Sky Tavern! Got gear cluttering your closet? Bring it down Thursday or Friday until 7 pm, tag it and sell it. Sky Tavern gets 18% and you get the rest.

New and used skis, snowboards, boots and everything else you need to have fun this winter can be found here. Winter is coming!
You can become a certified ski or snowboard instructor too. You can get certified at 16!
Sky Tavern through the PSIA and AASI programs for instructors. PSIA is the Professional Ski Instructors of America. Likewise AASI is the American Association of Snowboard Instructors. Both are professional accrediting organizations for snow sport instruction. At Sky Tavern an instructor can train for and be tested for certification.

The Winter
The ultimate goal of Sky Tavern is to get kids and families outside together, learning, sharing and enjoying a sport for life.
The Summer
In addition to the development of Sky Tavern cycling infrastructure, we are focused on our connector trail to the Tamarack Lake Connector (TLT) from the Sky Tavern base area.
The Lodge
Located on the Mt. Rose Highway, 30 minutes from Reno is the oldest non-profit ski and snowboard training facility in America. Rich with history and charm, since 1948, the lodge is fully functional and able to provide the most memerable experiences.
