U.S. Ski & Snowboard

Heros for Kids

These are just a few of the many that help make Sky Tavern what it is. From the large corporation to the young man who donated his birthday money, all are doing something special. We all owe them thanks!

You can become a certified ski or snowboard instructor. You can get certified at 16!

Sky Tavern through the PSIA and AASI programs for instructors. PSIA is the Professional Ski Instructors of America. Likewise AASI is the American Association of Snowboard Instructors. Both are professional accrediting organizations for snow sport instruction. At Sky Tavern an instructor can train for and be tested for certification.

"Teaching is how I give back to Sky Tavern. I was a SkyKid and I had no idea the teachers were just everyday people volunteering to make skiing accessible to everyone."
