A Message from The Board of Directors

Dear Sky Tavern friends and family,

 Sky Tavern’s Board of Directors would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Bill Henderson and his family for keeping Sky Tavern alive and running over the last 22 years!

Running an operation like Sky Tavern takes strength, patience, coordination, but most of all, LOVE. Bill and his family have poured their heart into making Sky Tavern work and the whole board recognizes and appreciates their hard work.

We want to officially thank him for moving heaven and earth (and a lot of snow!) to make a safe and enjoyable place for kids to learn to ski and have fun.

As to the matter of next steps:

The Board is fast at work developing a complete job description and the related skills needed to apply for this position. We will be sending out an official job posting within the next two weeks if not sooner.

As Bill stated in his email, he will be a part of the process to ensure that we make the right choice and find the right fit for our unique organization.

We hope you all will be patient as we navigate this process.

On a personal note, I have deep respect for Bill and his family’s commitment to the Jr. Ski program and running the property. They are largely the reason why Sky Tavern won the top award in the ski industry, the Conversion Cup! Bill has much to be proud of, and we recognize and honor his commitment to the program. 

Stay tuned for more information, but for now, Bill is still around and we are all anxiously awaiting snow to fall!
