On-Snow Instructor Training Session

Sign-up Here

Training Goals: Every lead instructor will feel confident guiding classes from first-time skiers and riders (“never-evers”) all the way to confidently linking turns on green terrain.  Certified instructors will continue their training through blue and black terrain.  Training includes how to introduce skills, improve demos, review common errors, and tips for adapting lessons to the younger rippers.

We’re keeping the colored levels (Yellow, Green, Blue, Black).  Based on valuable member feedback, we’ve made some adjustments to improve the learning experience.  Training will cover these changes.  Instructors will have the opportunity to learn more about the PSIA-AASI certification process in between sessions.

Join us on-snow as we prepare for the start of the Sky Tavern Learn to Ski and Ride Programs!  Arrive early so that you are ready to ski and ride promptly at the session start time.  Helmets, eye protection, and gloves required.  Check your ski and snowboard equipment!

Expect more dates to be added during winter break!
