Glizzy Gauntlet is the ultimate hot dog eating and mountain biking event. Teams compete in an endurance challenge that combines speed, grit, and an unholy number of glizzies. It's part mountain biking, part eating contest, and 100% chaos. A portion of the proceeds made will be going back to Sky Tavern Bike Park.

Summer Snow Day!
We're making snow in August! How? Our Technoalpin Snow Factory container inputs water and electricity and produces snow, so we can enjoy it even amidst the summer heat.
Summer Snow Day has activities for the whole family to enjoy, including sledding and a snowman building competition. This is also the perfect time to learn more about our winter programming and get your 2027 Learn to Ski and Ride passes. Mark your calendars because this is something you're NOT gonna want to miss.

Freehub Presents Film Fest x Reno Aces Ballgame
Freehub PRESENTS is an annual mountain bike film festival and community-driven event series that showcases unreleased short films from some of the best filmmakers and riders. This multi-stop film festival honors top and emerging filmmakers, riders, leaders, and storytellers who will shape the sport for generations to come. Supported by SRAM, Maxxis, evo, Leatt, and Orbea.
One ticket gets you access to the Aces game (6:05pm) and the film festival outdoors on the lawn at 7:00pm. A portion of proceeds from each ticket goes to Sky Tavern!

Women's Camp Weekend
Sky Tavern’s Women’s MTB Camp Weekend, June 20-21, is a packed schedule of activities built around bike skills for all levels of abilities, whether you’re figuring out the fundamentals or tackling advanced technical terrain. Combining a fun atmosphere at 8,000 feet above Reno, Women’s Camp is all-inclusive with epic trails, experienced instruction, shuttles, and a full course homemade dinner on Saturday followed by an après party with a live DJ.
Choose to extend the good times even further with camping under the stars Friday and Saturday nights at the base area (vehicle or primitive tent camping/no electrical hookups).
