Drop off your used winter gear to make someone’s dreams come true, or shop new and used gear at great prices.

What is it?

Shop a wide selection of winter gear, including skis, snowboards, boots, apparel, helmets, and accessories. Discover new, unsold items from previous seasons alongside gently used gear.

What Can I Sell?

• Skis, snowboards, and poles

• Ski and snowboard boots

• Ski jackets, pants, and winter outerwear

• Other gently used winter sports equipment

All skis equipped with non-indemnified bindings will be clearly marked with a WARNING STICKER identifying the bindings as non-indemnified. Non-indemnified bindings are bindings that are no longer covered under the manufacturer's current indemnification program. Ski shops may refuse to adjust, test, or service these binding

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED

• Used helmets

• Broken, damaged equipment

• Clothing with excessive wear, stains, or damage

• Equipment missing essential parts

• Used goggles

• Used first-layer clothing 

• Socks

• Beanies

Sky Tavern reserves the right to refuse items that do not meet resale standards.

How Does it Work?

1. PREPARE YOUR GEAR

• Please clean and sanitize all gear before drop-off.

• All items must be in good, usable condition.

• Keep matching equipment together.

• Remove personal belongings from bags and pockets.

• Check that all items have the necessary parts.

2. PRICING YOUR ITEMS

NO ITEMS MAY BE PRICED UNDER $10.

• Sellers determine their own prices.

• Price items reasonably based on age, condition, and original value.

• All items must have a completed price tag before being accepted.

3. TAGGING YOUR ITEMS (30 Items MAX)

• Tags are available during designated drop-off dates and times ONLY.

• Determine which items you plan to sell before collecting tags.

• Take only the number of tags needed for your items.

• Fill out all swap tags and your seller reconciliation sheet in clear, legible handwriting.

• Attach the entire tag securely to the corresponding item.

• Make sure each tag matches the item listed on your reconciliation sheet.

• Complete the check-in process with Ski Swap staff before leaving.

KEEP YOUR TAG RECEIPT!

Your tag receipt is REQUIRED to pick up any unsold merchandise. Please keep it in a safe place. Items will not be released without the required receipt.

4. SELLER COMMISSION

Sky Tavern retains 25% of the final selling price of each item sold. Sellers receive the remaining 75%.

Sky Tavern's portion supports our nonprofit programs and helps make outdoor recreation accessible to local families.

5. SELLER PAYMENTS

All seller payments will be issued by check within 3 weeks after the Ski Swap concludes and sales have been reconciled.

All sellers MUST provide accurate, complete, and LEGIBLE contact information

6. UNSOLD ITEM PICKUP

Sunday, November 22, 2026

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• You MUST present your tag receipt to retrieve your items.

• Items not collected by 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 22, will automatically be considered donated to Sky Tavern.

• Donated items become the property of Sky Tavern and may be used, sold, or distributed at its discretion.

NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE PICKUP DEADLINE.

7. ALL SALES ARE FINAL

All items are sold AS-IS, and all sales are final. Sky Tavern does not guarantee the condition, fit, performance, or compatibility of used equipment.

Sellers are responsible for accurately describing their items and disclosing any known defects.

SELLER CHECKLIST

Before leaving your equipment, make sure you have:

• Cleaned and sanitized all equipment

• Confirmed each item is in good condition

• Priced every item at $10 or more

• Completed all tags legibly

• Attached the entire tag securely to each item

• Completed your seller reconciliation sheet

• Checked in all items with Ski Swap staff

• KEPT YOUR TAG RECEIPT FOR PICKUP
