Frequently Asked Questions

  • Women’s Camp is all-inclusive with epic trails, shuttles, experienced instruction, camping, a light breakfast Saturday and Sunday, lunch and dinner Saturday, plus an apres party and live DJ Saturday night.

  • The shuttle will operate all weekend, taking you from the parking lot to the top of the mountain for each lap, so we can conserve our energy for learning and sessioning.

    Our trails are gravity focused.

  • A modern mountain bike with disc brakes and front suspension is required. A full suspension mountain bike is ideal for Sky Tavern’s terrain. Riders with all-mountain/enduro full suspension mountain bikes will have a better experience on our blue, black, and double black trails.  Remember to check over your bike before the clinic: tires, brakes, gears, shocks, wheels and frame as it’s no fun dealing with mechanicals when learning new skills. Flat pedals are highly encouraged!

  • Class 1 pedal assist eMTBs (no throttle) are permitted. Just be ready to load it and unload it on the shuttle by yourself!

  • Riders will be split into small groups based on their experience and abilities. Our professional coaches instruct a variety of skills: stability and balance, improved braking techniques, body position and range of motion, climbing techniques, cornering, wheel lifts, roll downs, tactics in technical terrain, and intro to drops and jumps. Our coaches will guide you to specific skills that will help you meet your goals! We will ride trails to put our skills into practice, sessioning features as you wish!

  • If camping in a vehicle, you are invited to camp in the parking lot near the lodge (there are no electrical hookups). This includes vehicle, RV, trailer camping. Tent camping is permitted in a designated area. Bathrooms are available but no showers.

  • Gas cooking stoves are permitted in the parking lot. No other open flames are permitted.

  • Yes, we can store bikes in the lodge.

  • Properly fitted CPSC Certified helmets, eye protection, knee pads and gloves are required.  Any other body armor you feel comfortable riding in is optional. Body armor, elbow pads and full-face helmets are highly recommended if interested in our blue, black, and double black terrain.

  • All riders must carry their own water, snacks, and fix-a-flat supplies (correct spare tube size).  We recommend carrying a multi-tool, tire levers, and pump as well. If you’re not sure what size of tire/tube you have, check out this video.

    • A light breakfast will be provided Saturday and Sunday thanks to Coffeebar (pastries, yogurts, fruits). Lunch and dinner will be provided Saturday. Snacks will be available both days courtesty of Skratch Labs and Sasquatch Foods.

    • We will do our best to cater to your food preferences and allergens. If you have special needs beyond Vegan/Dairy Free/Gluten Free, please be advised and prepare accordingly as we cannot guarantee other options or allergen-free items.

    • Please bring a reusable coffee mug for morning coffee or tea.
