Franz and Friends

Open ski for ALL members from 2-5pm and meet Olympians!

More details coming soon!

We are hosting and producing a meaningful and once in a lifetime event benefiting Sky Tavern - Reno/Tahoe’s youth program where no child is turned away—helping kids from working families gain confidence, independence, teamwork and a lifelong love for the mountains.

Philanthropist friends Tom & Reva Powell (Sky Tavern Board Member) asked me to organize, with our Franz & Friends team, a memorable skiing adventure March 3–6, 2026 that brings together friends, Olympians, and world champions to support this incredible cause.

Take a lap with a certified instructor & know your level!

  • Check-In Times: 9:30, 10:30, or 11:30 AM

  • Students should check in at the level they believe best matches their ability:

    • Yellow: Some experience; still working on slowing down, stopping, and turning.
